1. CLEAN YOUR FACE

Having your face clean is one of the most important things you must do. You can’t start to apply make-up on a dirty face, with old makeup residues or oily skin. If you will apply new mascara on old one, you will get a really messy look, and, furthermore, if you will want to curve your eyelashes while still having old mascara, you can really damage your eyelashes.

2. FOUNDATION

The second makeup basic step is foundation. There are lots of women wandering why they need to put a color on their faces just to look natural, when they could just not use foundation at all. 3. POWDER

After applying foundation, sometimes you will have the feeling you don’t look natural at all. Sometimes your skin may look like a mortuary mask – which, obviously, is not a good thing. Powder has a double effect. On the one hand, powder will give the natural look of your face. Secondly, it will also set the foundation. So if you decide to use foundation, you will absolutely need powder.

How to apply it
Take a powder brush, put some powder on it and apply it on all your face. You won’t be able to do this with a single move, you will have to stop, to put again powder on the brush and apply again. 4. EYES

Of course, for different types of makeup, you will have to do a lot more with your eyes, but as long as we are talking about makeup basic steps, let’s stick to basics.

5. LASHES

Proper lashes will make the difference between a great look and an undone, messy look. Lashes are the most subtle part of the female face, so pay great attention to them.

How to apply it
First of all, you have two options. Either you curve your eyelashes, for open-eyes effect, or you don’t curve the eyelashes for a subtle, mysterious effect. Again, it depends on what kind of makeup  you have in your mind. For day time makeup (going to school, work, a walk in the park, etc.) I recommend curved eyelashes. It will make your eyes look wider and you will have a more friendly, arms open look. Curving eyelashes is good for socialising. After you’ve curved the eyelashes, carefully apply mascara and it’s done!

6. POWDER AGAIN

This is the finishing line. Don’t be afraid to use a lot of powder (not too much though). This time it will completely set the foundation and give the natural skin color you want. Just repeat the steps from point 3., but this time use a little bit more powder.

7. BLUSH

Why is blush a makeup basic step?
The blush is the final touch you need for a natural look. The foundation and the powder will totally erase any traces of redness from your face, but you don’t want to look like Morticia Addams. Blush will make you alive and glamorous.

How to apply it
With a special blush brush apply a little bit of blush on your cheeks. Just a little bit! You don’t want to look like you’ve been hit. That’s it! Simple as it is.

8. GLOSS

Finally we’ve reached the end. Add a little bit of gloss on your lips for a glamorous look and you’re done. Pick a nice, translucide pink shade for a day time makeup.

FASHION FORECAST 2013 – General View of 2013 Fashion Trends

Abstract

Forecasting fashion is no easy task. You always have to pay attention not only to the on-going trends, but also you must anticipate the mood of the society.  Is it going to be a rebel women? Is it going to be a sad one? Will women next season be more optimistic? Or perhaps more pessimistic? I’ve decided myself to approach the 2013 fashion issue from several points of view. My purpose in this article is to bring forward a general view of 2013 fashion trends and especially to put in the light the women’s mood that is going to be popular in 2013 (because fashion is an imminent result of it).

With what trends does 2013 fashion start?

This isn’t the first article on 2013 fashion forecast I write. In other articles I’ve written that 2013 fashion will be somehow classy and elegant and in other 2013 fashion forecast article that I’ve written some years ago I’ve said that 2013 fashion will be in desperate need for something extraordinary, some sort of a break and an explosion, something rebel, something punk. So how do classy and punk come together in 2013 fashion? Was I wrong? No. It’s classy because it hasn’t got anything out of the ordinary, the cuts are simple, the prints are common, we aren’t going to wear Star Wars outfits. But where is the punk, the rebel side?   First of all, I will argue this idea by comparison. 2012 is all about glamour. Well, that’s a thing you won’t find in 2013. Quite the opposite.  Secondly, the punk – rock – dark side of 2013 fashion stands out with the color trends for 2013 (see below).

2013 Fashion colors

2013 Fashion is totally enchanted by mystical. Think about vampires, dark ladies, sophisticated mysterious women with occult powers. Is it going to be black magic or white?  Considering the colors that are trendy in 2013, I would rather say that it is going to be black magic.  Black is critical in every outfit of 2013.  I would consider the following colors to be at the top of 2013 fashion color trends:

black, crimson red, purple, red-violet, dark blue, forest green

Hair style and hair color trends for 2013

Unlike in the precedent years, the hair color will get darker and darker. No more pure blond and light brown hair color in 2013.  The gothic black is on the wave. But hey, I don’t want to leave the impression that in 2013 you must look like a rock lead singer, I would rather say that in 2013 you should look like a dark, cold hearted countess.  About the 2013 hair style – just keep it long and well done, never leave the house with the hair undone.

What are the 2012 summer hair color trends?

Usually, hair color trends don’t change from season to season as easily as that. Sometimes you get some sun kiss highlights in summer, or some warmer tones in spring. These would be the logical changes that might occur to your hair color through the seasons, but other times fashion goes completely crazy and starts dictating some frenzied hair color trends.

For 2012 summer hair color trends it is neither the case that hair will get highlights, nor will it be some wild, uncommon change in hair color.

There are two main trends for hair color summer 2012:
