Through the time, writing all these articles about fashion and fashion forecast, I’ve realized I was repeating myself over and over again saying that “this year fashion is about luxury and elegance”, “this year fashion is about delicate and luxury” and so on. What did all my phrases had in common? The word ‘luxury’. But you know what? Fashion is luxury, so it’s kind of redundancy to forecast fashion as luxury. Fashion will always be about luxury, the issue is to find out what kind of luxury is it about this or that year.

2013 Fashion forecast is no easy task. Though, looking back at 2011 and 2012 we can make us a certain opinion how fashion should evolve in 2013. 2011 Fashion was so naive, so pure and feminine. 2012 Fashion, however, came in force with glam fashion, more like the ’50s movie stars fashion spirit. Now, how long is this going to last? 2013 Fashion must take a breath of air, a rest from all this social ‘corsets’. But it won’t be chill, it will be reckless!
